SUBCHAMPION PKRA TENERIFE

The wind averaged approximately 20-25 knots throughout the day under cloudless, sunny blue skies. Race director Erik Troostheide announced that morning at the skippers meeting that the conditions were perfect to finish the wave competition, which will resume in El Cabezo at 2:00pm.

The wave conditions have certainly been world-class the past couple of days. In the men’s wave discipline, it was a spectacular day for Guilly Brandao (Mormaii, BRA). Brandao defeated Abel Lago (RRD, ESP) as well as Bruno Bordorsky (RRD, BRA) due to his overall better wave selection, style and power earning him a place in the final heat against Sky Solbach (North, USA). The conditions in El Cabezo can be a little difficult, one mistake and that could be the end of a heat. Brandao defeated Solbach in the final earning him first place in the wave event, while Solbach takes second, Bordorsky follows in third while Hebert takes fourth.

In the women’s wave division, Ania Grzelinska (North, POL) eliminates Angela Peral (North, ESP) in the first women’s heat of the day but is later defeated by Gisela Pulido (Airush, ESP). Grzelinska moves to the losers final against Kari Schibevaag (Ozone, NOR) who eliminated French rider Penelope Pessin in the third round. Spanish rider AINHOA GRACÍA (Airush, ESP) defeated Schibevaag leading her to the final against Pulido. Pulido finishes first in the wave event while Garcia takes second. Grzelinska takes third .

An award ceremony was held at the Plaza where numerous spectators, crew, riders and honorable guests attended marking the end of a very successful event with great results.

SPANISH RACE CUP CHAMPION

Hi everybody!!!!
We finished the Spanish Race Cup and i won the Race Cup.
On men was Augusto García.
Thanks to everybody who have made this event.

COPA DE ESPAÑA DE RACE (Huelva, Isla Cristina)

Augusto García y Ainhoa García were the winers in Spanish Race Cup during three beautiful days full of light wind (11- 18 knots)
Next event will be in Valle del Ebro during days 30, 31 july and 1 agost

"WINDSURFING - 60+8 MINUTES CLASSIC TARIFA COMPETITION"

The most funny competition for me!!
I participated in my first windsurfing competition. The goal was to realize the major number of returns around two buoys during 68 minutes , so i couldn,t arrived to the buoy not even an alone time....... I do windsurf from only few month ago, so i,m very happy !!!
we did also the same with kiteboarding and YES!!!!!! i got 1º place overall man & woman

PKRA MOROCCO

Eyyy!! I participated in the Morocco PKRA event Waves, It was really funny.
we had nice days full of wind. The waves too small but we decided to do the competition, and it was a success.
I got loser finals but i finished in 4º position.
